sew...

I'm kind of bummed that we weren't able to go to New York today but it just didn't work out.  Instead, we had such an amazing and fun time having a "cook out" at Mark and Faith's. We blew up a bar-b-que pit that had a wasp nest in it (a family adventure) and then we played Balderdash all night. Too much fun!
Yesterday Rachel and I went over to Adam's parent's house to do some serious sewing!! I am officially a master at binding. I am obsessed with hand-sewing the binding now.

It took me four hours to complete the binding but it looks sooooo much nicer, so professional :) Mom finished mending the quilt that she had made Adam when he was 12. I love it and I love the fact that he loves it so much.

P.S. I also wanted to show you the world's cutest pin cushion that I bought the other day :)

I <3 it...
and I love this...I saw this video on Jodie's blog a few minutes ago and I thought it was the cutest: check it!

I am soooo tired so I think I will be hitting the bed early tonight. love and miss you all!
but I especially miss this one the most :(

like really badly :(
xoxo

  2. haha That's such a coincidence I was just hunting you down to ask you if you had any tips/ recommended sites or books about quilting- esp the binding. The binding is the only part I can visualize how to do mentally.
