Yankee Candles!

On the 28th, we ventured out to the Yankee Candle Village. This is the main factory of Yankee Candles and it was HUGE. We didn't even make it to the facotry part, just the big shopping village. It was so neat and decorated so beautifully for the Holidays. I was super excited because they now have Eco-friendly soy candles. Soy candles are my absolute favorite and I bought many :)
They also had an area where you could mix your own scent to create your own candle, you could make a casting of your hand as a candle and then candle-dipping. There was sooooo much to see and we obviously did not even come close to seeing it all. Here are some pics from this day of fun!

Plus, Adam thinks that he is Ansel Adams and is taking sooo many pictures with my camera, here are the TWO that I kept. I think that they are beautiful :) Good job baby!

Great day!!

Christmas with the MacLeans <3

On the 27th, Adam's parents had a huge breakfast made for the whole family to come over and do Christmas together :) I loved it! I have never had such a BIG family Christmas and it was sooooo fun!! His family is so cute and so perfect and I am so lucky to be marrying into it! Here are some pics of the morning :) Adam's mom made me a Crazy Quilt which is sooo amazing and so incredibly special!

After our little family gathering, we had their HUGE family Christmas party at Auntie KoKo's house which was sooo much fun again! I seriously am sooo lucky to be marrying a man with such an awesome family. Adam and I won a Dunkin' Donuts gift card in the Christmas Grab. It is so funny to me how big of a thing Dunkin Donut's is up here. I have not seen one Starbucks anywhere. Everyone goes to Dunkin Donuts. I don't even think we have anymore of them in STL. Crazyness.

That night, we went over to Mark and Faith's house and played Rock Band all night. I loved it. I rocked out big time on lead vocals while my man rocked it on lead guitar :) So much fun, so much love...

28 hours!

So, I am not sure how a 19 hour drive turned into a 28 hour drive but it did :) I guess we made a lot of stops :) We had a lot of fun though and we decided that if we could make it through that drive, we could make it through anything right? We had a blast. We played old school road trip games and we saw 38 out of 50 license plates and then two Canadian providences which was awesome. We even had a little map and sparkely stickers to keep track of it. It was sooo much fun!
If you know me, you know that when I heard this place was on the way to Massachusetts, I HAD to go and drive around and be able to say that I was there !!

I'm a nerd, this I know!
So, here I am in SCRANTON of yes Office Fans!!

I didn't get many pictures because seriously, Scranton was a bit shady. I realize that The Office isn't filmed there in real life but they had nothing anywhere that was Office-ish. So, we just found the pics that they show in the begininng of each show and found Mifflin street, fun things like that.
Here are the only road trip pictures that we took:)

Obviously, these pics aren't that exciting if you aren't a die hard Office fan like us. We broke up our looooong drive by a stay in Akron, Ohio and then we made our way to Spencer, Mass at midnight on the 27th!!
