Today was a very scary day.
Today my love had heart problems :(
The day started with me calling 911 at 6:30 this morning and a house full of paramedics, EMTs, police, and firefighters.
Fortunately, it wasn't as bad as we thought it would be. The paramedics were sure it was a heart attack.
I believe that prayers were heard from all over the world and that there was some intersession from you know who :)
At the hospital, they had to stop Adam's heart and then re-start it before there was any cardiac arrest. How scary is that? At the same time, it blows my mind that there is a liquid that can stop someone's heart and within seconds, start it again...amazing.
I hear it's the worst feeling :(
Adam is home now with strict orders to relax and take some medicine.
We have to see a cardiologist in the next couple of days to schedule a heart surgery (not as scary as it sounds).
ANY prayers and positive thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I wanted to thank all of you for the emails, comments, phone calls, tweets, and prayers today. It was rough but all of you helped us get through it and we love you!
We are off to do some more resting...again thanks to everyone!!

ReplyDeleteBrett had to go to the hospital in the middle of the night once for chest pains. We thought it might be something serious like a heart problem but turned out to be major heartburn. We felt kind of silly afterwards but it's never a laughing matter when you know your man is in serious pain.

ReplyDeletep.s. i think it's super cute that you took your crochet with you :). i would have been a mess and forgotten to think about that and would have ended up reading the bazillion old copies of highlights the doctors always have (which are still cool in my mind).
