\As one of my goals, for my 30 before 31 challenge, I wanted to create a mini-book to document my journey.
I wanted it to be just a simple book that listed each of my goals and a way for me to document that they had been accomplished.
Two nights ago, I finished it.
Yay! I can cross one thing off of my list :)
I used chipboard from the back of old scrapbook packs and cut them down to 5 1/2" x 8".
For the covers, I used a Liberty of London file folder for the background and wood grain contact paper for the title and heart detail.
The inside pages were made using Photoshop Elements and cute digital kits from Kitschy Digitals :)
Each page lists one of my goals.
I also used washi tape to go fold over around all of the edges of my pages because I hate when corners start to peel up! Plus, I really like the way it looks :)
There is also enough room on each page to add an instax photo of the goal being completed and a cute little date stamp.
I can stamp the date of the day that each goal has been completed!!
This is such a simple way to document any goals that you have for yourself! I find that if I have goals written down, especially in a "book" like this, I am more apt to complete them :)
Today is going to be a day of line design, spray painting robots, making star books with the elements of art, chinese lanterns, and sewing up pillows...fun!
and tonight is all about Project Runway!!
excitement.
I seriously still don't have a favorite.
see you later...

This is great! I love that one goal is to visit another Frank Lloyd Wright house... I went to Taliesin a few years back and it was so wonderful. Taliesin West is 30 minutes from me and I've somehow managed to never go... this post inspired me to do so :). Thank you!
ReplyDeleteOk, this is just too cute! Looove it! You have inspired me to make one, too. Except mine will be 9 pages longer - yikes! Next year I'll turn 40 (Lordy, Lordy, can't believe I'll be 40!) and I think this is such a fantastic idea! Please post pics as you complete your goals!
