All of the tools have been packed up and moved out.
The dust has all been swept up.
The grout has all been wiped up.
The rooms that weren't being remodeled are slowly becoming rooms again and not catch-alls.
My favorite part about the renovation being over is having this little one back at our house
My parents kept her this week so that she would stay out of trouble :) She would have been a nervous wreck here with all of the noises and crazyness. We are very appreciative of my parents for taking such good care of her, but we are also appreciative that she is back with us :)
Ok, the kitchen hasn't been completely cleaned and ready for it's close up yet so I will have to be back with pictures of that BUT the bathroom is 99.9% ready and to me, that's good enough for a photograph eh?
That cute bunting and banner are both from Dottie Angel's shop :) I have had them forever but they seriously look so cute in the bathroom. I am just waiting for two more of those vintage locker baskets to find their way to me and this bathroom will be perfect! It's got a vintage feel and bit of charm and we love it! Pictures of inside the shower are in the post below :)
I honestly can say that I had a lot of fun this week spending time with and learning from my aunt and uncle. I can't say enough how blessed we were with their generosity.
You all are going to love the kitchen too!!
Besides cleaning and organizing and dusting and laundry and grouting and driving back and forth to Lowes, I did manage to get my stictch on a little bit :) I decided to sew a panel of my favorite fabric to my "Journal For A Cause" journal cover :)
I also updated my 30 before 31 mini book! I will post pictures of the inside maybe tomorrow when I have better lighting :) deal?
Also, I am in "cute baby" shop mode. I made a folder on my desktop that I want to start filling with baby inspiration for when the adoption begins! Do any of you have any cute etsy shop recommendations or other cute shops or blogs for great baby inspo? I would appreciate any ideas!!
I will be back tonight with my monthly goals post. I haven't even thought about any goals for August, can you believe it!!
I think I need a nap.

A really cute blog is Spearamint Baby(http://www.spearmintbaby.com/)! She blogs about baby decor. Some of the prettiest baby rooms you will ever see!
ReplyDeletei can't wait for me to be able to make another "baby wish list" folder. they are the greatest!
Congratulations on finishing all the renovations! I never would have thought to put bunting in the bathroom, but it really looks great!
ReplyDeletebaby recommendation;
ReplyDeletei didn't look through etsy, but i have an idea - buy a plain bib, and somehow customize it with the words "if you think i'm cute, you should see my mommy"
i had one of those when i was little, except mine said daddy.
(:
