The Quilt Project!!

Ok, so this is the "Push for Pita" project that I have been the most excited for!!!!

Over the past 6 months I have been collecting vintage sheets to make a quilt for Pita when she arrives.
This quilt is 10 squares by 10 squares so far.
That is 100 squares.

Here is the plan.
YOU can purchase one of these squares for only $5.00.
Why?
When you purchase a square, I will hand embroider your name onto it.

Each square will have a different name of someone who helped us bring our baby girl home.
Each square will be a lifetime reminder to her (and us) of all of the people who loved, and supported her, and brought us all together as a family :)

So, the goal is this...
Sell all 100 squares.
Have 100 names to add to Pita's quilt.

Click HERE to purchase your quilt square!!!
I can't wait for my hand to be soooo tired from embroidering names :)

  3. I did it too...:) You had sold quite a few by the time I made it to purchase a square...I wish you and your family the best...it has been a pleasure to see someone work so hard to share their home with a little person who has no idea how much they are already loved...just beautiful. Good luck to you..Hearts, Janna Lynn

  6. this is the greatest idea i've ever heard.

i have a request for a blog post-- how do you go about choosing fabrics? there are so many beautiful (and expensive!) ones and i wonder how you choose from them all. i tend to just buy whichever ones i think are pretty and just end up with a mishmosh. (i've been asking a few ppl this and you always have gorgeous colored quilts)
