As I mentioned yesterday, last night was our home visit with our adoption agency.
It was perfect!
I can tell that there were people praying because I didn't feel any anxiety creep in at all. Adam spent his whole day off cleaning like crazy, grocery shopping, and just making sure that everything was perfect.
side note: Adam is amazing
Laura, the woman we are working with, was so great.
She's funny, knowledgeable, and we are pretty sure that she loved us as much as we loved her. Catalina snuggled right into her on the couch and fell asleep. Catalina is a sweetie, but she never does that with people she just meets.
Again, we are hoping and praying that things move quickly from here.
BTW-Did I mention how AWESOME my mom's friends are?
We don't want to have a baby shower until that baby is in our hands and all legal aspects are complete BUT they wanted to make sure that we would be ready the very second we phone call. Well, they got together and purchased us a stroller and car seat!!
soooo ready!!
Now, we just go back to waiting :)

So happy the visit went well. How sweet of your Mom's friends. The waiting is the worst but it will be worth it. I'm so excited for you both. I can't wait either.
