Day light savings has actually been working so good for me in the mornings!! I have been waking up an hour earlier every morning and it is giving me so much extra time to work on crafty projects in the morning and make sure I can not only make my lunch, but photograph it and upload it.
So, here is another sneak peek into my adorable little lunch today :)
My favorite is the adorable bee shaped silicone cup!! My sweet sweet friend Christine sent me a little surprise package in the mail with a set of the bees and a set of butterfly ones!! Love love love them. This whole lunch took me less than 5 minutes to put together this morning and again it is way healthier than what I would normally choose. This morning I even found myself saying "Ok, I have my fruit and vegetable group, my dairy, my whole grains, snap I need some protein." And that is when I added the pistachios! I have been eating oatmeal for breakfast as opposed to pop tarts and then these healthy bento lunches for lunch. This week is the start of something good :)
Thanks for reading my silly food adventures :)

ReplyDeletebecause of your earlier post I have been in a bento box craze! ;) Do you make them for anyone else? My husband thinks its really odd, and only resigns himself to the bento box to be kind, but I think he'll come around... :)

ReplyDeleteI studied abroad in Japan for a summer when I was 16 and my host mom would make me bento lunches - not nearly as cute as these, but they were definitely delicious!

ReplyDeleteIs that Mickey Mouse shaped cheese! I've decided when I return home I'm going to make bento for my work lunches - hoping this will make me healthier and also stop my from buying lunch so often as it's such a budget killer!
