Seeing Spots-Guest Blogger Serena!

Hi! Serena from a girl named sue here.

I'm so excited for Janel and this journey she is embarking on. What a wild ride!

Trying the Janel pose in honor of her exciting good news.

I recently moved from a small studio into a bigger apartment. For the first time in more than two years, I have more space and blank walls to fill! I am not one to rush the process of collecting art, so some of these walls might remain bare for a while.

Anyway, I was sitting on my couch the other night and realized I have a great canvas for temporary photobooth installations.

Do you guys read Oh Happy Day?
Jordan's website has DIYs that almost always take my breath away. Her posts on creating a confetti table cloth and her sequin photobooth DIY inspired me to turn my blank wall into a perfectly spotted backdrop for photos.
The process itself was really simple, the perfect project for my short attention span. I grabbed some colorful cardstock I had lying around and traced circles in different sizes using plates and cups from the kitchen. Cut out said circles, grab some scotch tape, and go to town.

Super easy and such a fun backdrop for outfit photos. I'm hosting a birthday brunch for a friend soon and know that we'll have a blast posing for silly photos in front of the wall.

Don't have a blank wall? Consider picking up a vintage projector screen. I found one at a thrift store in Texas for $5. What a great way to create interchangeable backdrops.

Adorable!!!  Thank you Serena!!!
I love this and I will definitely be needing a cute little backdrop for baby photos!!!
