the photo booth

This weekend my sister, dad, and I threw my mom a surprise birthday party for her 60th.  Ever since traveling to Europe this summer, she has been so obsessed with tea.  We thought it was only perfect that she have her very own Mad Hatter's Tea Party.  We have been working on this party for almost 2 months now, DIY'ing all of the decor and making sure that everything went off without a hitch. 

It was perfect!!

I will share more photos from the party (including her priceless surprised faces when she walked in :D) but I haven't edited all of them yet. 

One aspect we wanted to include was our own little DIY photo booth.  This family LOVES photo booths but the price to rent one is insane.  We had so much fun making props and backdrops for our own!

We used this DIY for the photo booth props.
