a spring quilt...

Tonight, I decided to start sewing a quilt for spring :)
I bought the "Vintage Rainbow" quilt kit that Rachel Denbow made for RVA a while back and decided that the colors, patterns, and florals were absolutely perfect for spring :)

I placed all of the squares in the perfect places (I couldn't find one of them for awhile though :D)
And began to sew all of the rows together :)

and because I didn't feel like busting the iron out, I stopped there for tonight. BUT, I will say that if I didn't stop there, I believe I could have finished this quilt tonight :) Rachel made this quilt kit so easy and convienient.
I am feeling so inspired these days.
It feels amazing :)
oh, and here is my art journal page from today too:

I hope tomorrow brings you a fun and creative week!
love you.

  1. Janel,

Please feel free to send that quilt to my house when you are finished... :) Just kidding! But seriously, every time you make a new quilt I think, "Oh my goodness, that is the most beautiful quilt ever!" and then the next one is even prettier! So much talent!
