My blog, Making Chicken Salad, is all about making the most out of what you have and appreciating your life for exactly what it is.  You don't need a million dollars to make your home or your wardrobe look just the way you want it to--you just need to be true to your own style and  to think outside the box. 

  

Here you will find DIYs, recipes, fashion and interior inspiration, and glimpses of my family life.

What is a current project you are working on?

I am just finishing up my biggest project EVER...  Renovating and decorating a house!!  We bought a new home in January and have spent every spare minute working on it and scouring thrift stores to decorate it.  With a small budget to get everything done it has been all about repurposing and being creative, and I have loved the whole process.

Now that I am finishing up things with the house, I am focusing on reopening my etsy shop to sell vintage and handmade items once again.  It is taking a little longer than I had hoped to reopen, but I am working hard to make everything perfect before I open the doors.
