Ummm...how did I go without blogging for so long?  Seriously, my hands itch to hit my keyboard so I can blog now :)

Are you ready for another edition of "Little Pins?"  Your little dose of all things adorable for your little ones.

Here we go!

1.  The light switch stickers are a MUST have for Amelia's room.  They have officially been added to her Christmas list.

2.  I adore this Holiday Gift Guide for little boys and can't wait for them to post the girl one!  Most of these items are pretty gender neutral anyway :)

3.  How sweet is this idea?  A little night time journal for your child to draw in each night, where they can illustrate the best part of their day!  I love this and I can't wait to be able to put something like this into action.

4.  I am SOOOO excited about this and can not wait to get one for Amelia!

Sophie & Lili has collaborated with Misha Lulu!!  Eeek!  Amelia has so many of their dresses and I think it will be so cute to get her one of these dolls with the matching dress!!

Amelia has this dress already and I love that the little doll also come as a little brown skin girl!!  (see it in the top right hand corner?)  If anyone is looking to get my girl a Christmas present...this is it :)

5.  And speaking of cute, and adorable dolls...Blabla is now doing cloth dolls!  What a fresh little spin on their classic knit dolls. love love love

Seriously, these are the days that I wish money grew on trees :)  In the meantime, I will continue to window shop online and dream about all of this cuteness.

Amelia's New Nursery

Last Saturday, was the day I decided to do Amelia's Nursery Makeover!!  I painted the room "Lincoln's White Sash" the night before but it only took me 9 hours total to complete the entire makeover.  Besides the crib, book shelf, and changing table, everything else in the room is completely different.

Here we go!

I went with a "black and white and bright" theme.  As I mentioned before, I really wanted to streamline her room and make it more practical for a little one on the move.  Less clutter, more cute.

Since I am sure I will get questions about where I purchased things, I will link the items that stand out.  I am going to link the original sources to buy each of these items.  Most of them, I got from those shops but others I bought second hand for a way cheaper price :)

Ok, here is the other side of the room.  Here we have her changing table area, a new chalkboard wall, and a vintage school desk that serves as a table for misc. items :)

I am in love with this curtain.  I thought it was sooo cute and perfect for Amelia and her room.  The little vintage green box was from a yard sale and holds misc things like Amelia's earring care solution, neosporin, lotion, etc.

The jars were a quick and easy DIY project with mason jars, plastic toys, and spray paint :)  Easy peasy and oh so cute!!  The large jar houses Amelia's hair bows and the other three house chalk, crayon rings and crayon gems!

Every room needs a chalkboard wall right?!  Espeically when your mom and aunt are art teachers!!  I can't wait for her to be able draw all over this wall.  It makes me so happy just thinking about it.

My sister also scored that cute chevron pouffe somewhere on ridiculous clearance and is letting us have it for the time being.  The chair is a vintage school chair, the rug is Dwell. 

That is it!! I am so happy with the way it turned out. I was super excited that my vision became a reality with this room in 9 short hours too!

It fits Amelia's bright little personality perfectly as well.

handmade toys.

One of my favorite collections of Amelia's right now, is her handmade doll collection.  Since we had been planning for Amelia for years, I have been blessed enough to have collected a lot of amazing little toys and dolls for her.  I usually purchase these from Etsy, and I picked up some at Renegade a couple of years ago as well.  I love that they are handmade and special and I know that they will be super special to Amelia as well.

 I have been searching the internet for another sweet little doll for my sweet little girl and I made a board of some of my favorites out there right now:

When it comes to toys and dolls for our someday child, it is really important to us that they be special.  We are firm believers in supporting handmade, and we have begun collecting little treasures from many independent artists and shops for our little girl.

I had received a lot of emails after I posted the above photo from readers wondering where we had gotten some of our little dolls.

I decided to write up a little post sharing the beauty, detail, and uniqueness of each of them, along with their shop information :)
