treasures...

We have this great little Antique Mall by our house that my mom and I like to hit up every once in awhile.  We haven't been in a few months so we decided to take a trip up their Monday evening in search of some pretty tea cups.

Well, I didn't find any teacups to my liking, BUT I did find some other super exciting treasures!  Check them out:

*  A Vintage Cross Stitched sign in excellent condition for our welcome wall:

* a HUGE crewel embroidery "Home Sweet Home" sign for our welcome wall :)

Look how good the wall looks now!

*  Two large vintage paint by numbers of horses that I literally squealed when I saw :)

These are going in the nursery for sure but I'm just not sure where exactly yet.

Everything I scored was in great condition and my bill was only $25!

Seriously, it was one of the most exciting treasure hunting trips to the Antique Mall ever :) This week has been a great week for vintage finds.

lay baby lay

I briefly wrote about Lay Baby Lay the other day.  I have spent HOURS looking through this amazing blog of mood boards and downloadables.

After looking through the mood boards, I feel like re-doing our entire house!

love letters.

Here is my monthly love letter to our soon to be baby :)

These letters are so special to me.  It was really neat going back and reading through all of them tonight and seeing where we were at and how far we have come.  Seeing how far we have come is important, especially when we have days where we feel like it having a baby seems so far away.

 I had this when I was little but I have never seen one without the blonde hair, blue eyed girl.  This little dark haired girl made my day :)

 All of these for 50 cents!  These will be a gift for another blog friend :)

 $10 vintage metal dollhouse! It is in perfect condition and fully stocked with furniture :)

 A vintage Black Beauty board game.  I love this so much!

 This chair and ottoman, in AMAZING condition for only $5 was my most favorite score.  I actually got it for my sister but I wish I had room for it in my house!

I also found the sweet (Dutch?) sign in the top right hand corner for our Welcome wall :)

This weekend has been wonderful.  It was exactly what I needed :)

I hope all of you have had a weekend full of happiness as well.
