wednesday is my favorite <3

Wowza friends. Thank you so much for commenting in my last post!! The last time that I looked, there were 50 comments!! Can you imagine how amazing it would be to have even close to that many comments on every post? I would be the happiest little blogger ever!!!
* Today I was feeling kind of yucky so I took a nap when I got home and accidently slept until 9:30. Yikes! So, now I am wired, this post is going to be a little random so bare with me loves :)
* Ok, this morning before work, I finished the quilt top for my give-a-way quilt. I am in love with it so far and I hope that Crissy likes it too!!

* Now, along with Angela's quilt square came the world's greatest package full of all kinds of goodies!! Vintage paper, an owl mug, teacher goodies, two granny squares (that I hung on my Inspiration Board so that I will be inspired to not give-up on trying to make one of my own :D)

I love love love it. I have it right on my couch so I can pull it down and snuggle with it on these soon-to-be cool autumn nights:D Thank you thank you thank you Angela for being so lovely and kind!
* I baked cookies tonight for Adam to come home to:

Like obsessed! Like they are the cause of my extra long nap I think.....too much sugar!! But soooo worth it too :)
* Last night I made a long, felt, leaf, autumn-inspired garland to hang from my light about our kitchen table :)

autumn loves journal

Yesterday was the first day that it had really felt like "fall." So, it was only fitting that my Autumn Craft kit from RVA came in the mail yesterday too!
So, I stayed up all night, having sooooo much fun putting this journal together to document all of my wonderful Autumn memories this year :)


I have created all of the other pages and added some embellishments but I like to add all of that fun stuff when I am actually journaling on that page. Here are the pages that I have finished so far:



I posted the rest of my book (in it's beginning stages) on my Flickr :)
I decided that this isn't going to be a "daily" journal. It is just going to be a place where I can write where I want to write and stitch where I want to stitch and collect things and glue them in wherever I want :)
I can NOT wait to keep filling this book <3 I will definitely post pages as I complete them :)

a great day for mail <3

Yesterday was a looooong day at work. I am talking 8am to 7pm. So, when I opened the mailbox to envelopes galore, I was sooooo happy!

 I recieved FIVE quilt squares in the mail yesterday. YAY!!! You have no idea how excited I was to get these. Like a kid in a candy store.
All of the squares are sooo beautiful too!!

This is how weird I am...I am already sick of the photobooth picture with me and the polaroid being at the top of my blog :) The crappy lighting is stressing me out. Sometimes that totally happens to me! So, in honor of my OCD, I am posting about another one of my favorite blogs!!

Orange You Lucky

I loooove everything about her illustrations and her style is always inspiring. The illustration that she posted today is my favorite:

I love it because it kind of looks like the unicorn that my room was done in when I was 2. She was brown with little flowers all over her. Apples would have been cooler though :)
So, I saw it and I loved and I thought that I would share some of her other illustrations that I love so much:





She makes me happy when skies are grey :) love love love her work. I can not wait to share some of my new journal pages with you later, probably tomorrow. They also make me happy when skies are grey.
Tonight I am soooo sad that we have to go back to work tonight for school stuff becaussssse The Office season premier is TONIGHT!!

I was seriously counting down the days!! I can not wait. Also, Project Runway. I am hoping that my main man reads this blog post and remembers to DVR my shows for me. (pretty please?).
