29 Facts about this 29 year old:

Tonight Adam and I were purging (again) through boxes of old memorobelia. You know the kind of box that houses old letters, love notes (trashed now), pog collection, stamp collection, Care Bear and Rainbow Brite, literally anything that I could find of my grandpa's after he died...that kind of box. It was fun to look back on things and reminise about life at the certain point in my life. I was showing a movie about Andy Warhol to my second graders and I learned that he used to save and collect things DAILY and store them in boxes DAILY with the dates on them so that he had mini time capsules of his life for people to look through after he was gone. Kind of cool, kind of obsessive :)
So, I was thinking that someday I may want to look back on this blog and remember some things about me at the age of 29 and 1 day. Here it goes!

1. I am married to a lovely man, Adam Marshall MacLean (I am blessed)
2. I have a great realationship with God and loooove learning daily
3. My favorite movie is still Man on Fire with Slumdog Millionairs as a cloooose second.
4. My favorite book is impossible to define because I loooove reading books. i go through them like they are going out of style.
5. I am obsessed with blogging, twitter, and the online community
6. I love the outdoors, everything about it.
7. Autumn and Spring are my favorites.
8. Music is my anti-drug
9. I live in the cutest condo ever
10. I am obsessed with creating and being creative.
11. I love my Toms and my uggs
12. I am inspired the most right now by Rachel and Elsie
13. I loooove Diet Dr. Pepper
14. Cupcakes are my sweet of choice
15. I would freak out without my MacBook
16. I want an iPhone
17. The Office is my favorite TV show (although I really don't watch much TV)'
18. I love taking pictures
19. I am starting to love using a sewing machine
20. Felt is my BFF
21. My family is soooo amazing (another blessing)
22. My close friends are great friends
23. I have a rad haircut
24. I love Reynosa, Mexico with all of my heart
25. I want to go to Africa, Scottland, and New Zealand really bad

27. I drive a Honda Civic but wish I had a hybrid

29. I am hoping that my husband can get a job closer to me so that he can move here :)

My life at 29! That is it. Well, that is not all of it but that is me in a nutshell :) preferably a pistachio nut shell (another favorite).

It was a lovely day. Predicted to be full of severe thunderstorm warnings but not a raindrop in sight :) That's the way I like it :)
* Catalina went to her Easter "Beg" Hunt. It was soooo cute and her easter basket was the cutest there! I will post pictures tomorrow (maybe) I had Penn Station for lunch (my favorite) and my love cooked me pasta for dinner.
* Church was awesome (as always)
* The Spark launches at midnight!! Yes can not wait!
* Adam is here in St. Louis, on the couch next to me :)
* He brought me flowers and breakfast in bed this morning
* I started my "cute couple" scrap book from RVA.
* Chocolate Box mix Birthday Cake made by my mom is the Best and always will be the best
* Craft Swap packages are sent out.
* My wedding reception is in two weekends! (Yay!)
* I love my husband more and more every second of our marriage.
* I hope he gets THE job.
* I am obsessed with creating.
* I want to get my hair done by HollySarah :)
* Seriously, I need a hair cut...and color.
* Tonight we were going to put up our tent in the living room and break out all of our new camping supplies and camp out for my birthday but I was tooooo tired and lazy :) (It's ok to be lazy on your birthday!
* I love my new friends that I have met through the RVA class. L-O-V-E them! If I was rich I would fly them all to St. Louis to hang out! P.S. Happy Birthday to Kimi (my birthday twin!)
* I got the CUTEST dinosaur brooch from Jari today and the coolest most loveliest scented car candle :) Looooves!
* Tonight I feel random (I guess that is part of being 29 years old?)

"It's a beautiful day..."

Man oh man, today was a lovely day. Lovely in so many ways :) Adam and I decided to spend the day outdoors. When he and I first started dating, I would come up with all of these fun date plans for us that were outdoorsy. Then, he would come down to St. Louis and it would rain EVERY weekend :) It never failed. So, for our very first ever date I wanted to take Adam to The Lakehouse which is a cute restraunt at Creve Couer park, down at the lake. You can have your dog there, you sit outside, live band, fire pits, twinkle lights, great food, etc. Like I said, it rained every weekend here from the weekend Adam and I met until like June...seriously.
One year later, we decided to go to The Lakehouse :) It was really fun and Catalina really enjoyed it until it got really windy and she got chilly. It was ok though because Adam found a great way to warm her up...

After the Lakehouse, we decided to drive around town and take pictures of SPRING!! There are so many flowering trees, and lovely smells all over our neighborhood and I wanted to document the beauty of all of these amazing creations of God somehow <3








Afterwards, we went to Dogport, which is a dog park and played...good times!
Tonight we are eating fried rice and relaxing. I did some embroidery last night that I finally have pictures of. The first one is an owl that I drew and embroidered on some lovely designer fabric that I had left over.



That project was based on one of my current favorite Spring color combos :) Magenta, green, and yellow! looooove!
Right this second, I am currently working on this cutie pie Easter Bunny brooch.

The bunny is actually from an embroidery pattern by Elsie. I need to finish this before tomorrow. Adam and I are taking Catalina to a dog easter hunt. I think they hunt for treats :) They have contests too for the cutest puppy outfit and Easter basket. Cat will not wear clothes so I need to make her basket sooooo cute!! I think I will put this brooch on it somehow!!!
Only 2 and half more hours until 29!!!

We are currently in the process of creating our etsy shop and getting lots of goodies made to put in it. We have actually been swamped with orders from the art conference that we haven't been able to post anything over there lately.
Nicole has been working on some journal prompts and inspiration to put over there.
Right now the blog's purpose is to inspire everyone to create and share things that we are creating and loving :) Remember---Baby Steps! :)

In other news, I am turning twenty-nine this Sunday! Crazyness :) I love birthdays! I told Adam that instead of a cake, I want a birthday cupcake from The Cupcakery :) Delicousness. I also need to show you the cutie pie shoes that Adam got me!!! Maybe I can find a pic on the Toms website.

It is the gift that serves two purposes. One, I love them and my feet look fabulous and 2-because Adam bought a pair, they send a pair of shoes to a child in need in Africa. That is soooo my type of gift!
All of my other gift givers have been told that I only want money to pay for extra classes on my RVA craft weekend. I cam not wait!!

Ok, I think this is pretty good sized post for tonight. I am counting reception replies tonight so I better get back to that!!!
